OPTIMITIVE and Cementos Moctezuma, one of Mexico's leading cement manufacturers, jointly presented a case study at the FICEM 2026 Technical Congress, held from August 31 to September 4 in Mexico City.

Under the title "Optimizing a Cement Kiln with Artificial Intelligence: From Operational Variability to Predictive Stability," Luis Martín Rodríguez Guzmán, Process Manager at Cementos Moctezuma, and Montse Roy, Cement Business Unit Lead at OPTIMITIVE, shared the Mexican company's experience using OPTIBAT®, the Spanish company's software.

Without a doubt, it was a few days full of networking, knowledge, and innovation, during which OPTIMITIVE shared its vision on how AI and Closed-Loop Optimization can help the cement industry move toward more efficient, autonomous, and sustainable operations.
